Hello! I noticed that knode seems to have unmet dependencies when upgrading a f23 system to f24: $ sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=24 Fedora 24 - x86_64 9.6 MB/s | 47 MB 00:04 Fedora 24 - x86_64 - Updates 363 B/s | 257 B 00:00 Last metadata expiration check performed 0:00:00 ago on Thu Mar 3 13:26:18 2016. Error: package knode-4.14.10-10.fc23.x86_64 requires kdepim-common = 4.14.10-10.fc23, but none of the providers can be installed. package knode-libs-4.14.10-10.fc23.x86_64 requires libkdepim.so.4()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed (try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages) I don't personally use knode so I'm happy to just --allowerasing to work around the issue, but thought it was worth reporting. Thanks!
<nod>, some items from kde4-based kdepim, including knode aren't available in f24+ yet. Only workaround for now, is to remove knode prior to upgrading
This is not acceptable. The kdepim package should obsolete the old knode if it will not provide it. Proposing as a Beta 0-day blocker: "For each one of the release-blocking package sets, it must be possible to successfully complete a direct upgrade from fully updated installations of the last two stable Fedora releases with that package set installed." This bug prevents upgrade from F23 to F24 unless the user manually removes knode.
Though I'd hoped it wouldn't have taken this long, the good news is kdepim4 review (linkned bug #1314974 ) was approved just yesterday, so hopefully we'll be able to get an update submitted today.

Discussed at 2016-04-25 blocker review meeting: [1]. This bug was accepted as 0 day blocker: AcceptedBlocker (Beta) - this is a violation of "For each one of the release-blocking package sets, it must be possible to successfully complete a direct upgrade from fully updated installations of the last two stable Fedora releases with that package set installed." for the KDE package set [1] http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-blocker-review/2016-02-29/f24-blocker-review.2016-04-25-17.02.html
I tried upgrading KDE with updates-testing enabled, and the problem is fixed. We just need to push it stable.
